Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and driven Clinical Operations Manager to lead a dedicated team of clinicians in delivering both in-home and virtual evaluations. This role is essential as it merges clinical acumen with operational oversight, ensuring that a team of 150 healthcare professionals, including Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and Physicians, meets key performance indicators. You will play a crucial role in providing strategic leadership and coaching to your team while collaborating with various departments to ensure effective staffing, operational excellence, and the delivery of superior care.

This position is fully remote, with occasional travel requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operational performance and vital metrics for the clinician team, including cancellation rates, completion of diagnostic and preventive services, in-home evaluations, and staffing levels.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive team culture through regular one-on-one interactions, team-building initiatives, and other engagement activities.
  • Collaborate with recruitment teams to maintain appropriate staffing levels to meet operational requirements.
  • Engage with the capacity management team to address capacity issues and enhance team performance.
  • Work alongside clinical coaches to assess and improve clinicians’ performance.
  • Guide your team in reaching company objectives through coaching, constructive feedback, and disciplinary measures as needed.
  • Communicate essential operational updates to the clinician team in a clear and timely manner.
  • Oversee reports, projects, and tasks as assigned by leadership.
  • Support additional responsibilities as required.

Required Skills

  • Demonstrated ability to make strategic decisions to swiftly and effectively address operational challenges.
  • Strong leadership capabilities, including experience in motivating large teams and cultivating a culture of excellence.
  • Comprehensive understanding of operational metrics and strategies to enhance performance across extensive teams.
  • Background in healthcare delivery models and management of clinician networks.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare operations or management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Nursing, or a related field is preferred.
  • A clinical background is advantageous.

Compensation And Benefits

The base salary for this position ranges from \(64,500 to \)110,400 annually. Compensation will reflect factors such as location, job-related expertise, and experience.
