Back End Developer

Job Title: Backend Developer (Equity-based, Unpaid Until Fundraising)

Job Type: Remote, Full-time

About The Role

We are seeking a passionate and self-motivated Backend Developer to join our team on an equity-based arrangement until fundraising. This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced startup environment, contribute to building an innovative product, and grow with the company. Post-fundraising, the role will offer competitive compensation of up to 12 LPA + Equity.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend systems, APIs, and databases.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and designers to implement scalable and efficient solutions.
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Integrate third-party services and APIs as needed.
• Ensure data security, performance, and reliability.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Node.js, Python, or similar backend programming languages.
• Experience with database systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
• Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
• Understanding of data security and performance optimization techniques.

Preferred Experience

• 2+ years of professional experience in backend development.
• Hands-on experience in building scalable web applications.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience in a startup environment is a plus.
