Job Specialty: Emergency Department (ER)
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Night 3×12-Hour (19:00 – 07:30)
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Experience: Minimum 2 years in a similar size and volume ER and at least 1 prior travel assignment
License: Valid State License required – specific requirements for specific locations
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH, PALS
Must-Have: 1 prior travel assignment, experience in ER settings with at least 125 visits/day, ability to work with travel experience
Job Description:- Provide nursing care in the Emergency Department with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4 or 1:5.- Perform triage, IV starts, and phlebotomy.- Utilize electronic medical records, preferably Cerner.- Handle responsibilities on every other weekend and holiday rotation as necessary.- May involve contact with COVID-19 patients.- Mandatory flu vaccine with no exemptions.- Wear purple scrubs (not provided by the facility).- Complete required orientation and training modules, which can vary by specialty.- Available to return as a traveler after a minimum of 1 year if previously employed.
