Travel Nurse RN – MICU – Medical Intensive Care Unit – COVID19 – $1,998 per week

MUST HAVE: Must be willing to care for COVID-19 patients, ICU experience, Positive attitude, flexibility, teamwork, desire for excellence, self-motivated, good communication and people skills, ability to work in a diverse environment. REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: BLS, ACLS, NIH UNIT SPECIFICS:

• Number of Beds : 26
• Patient Ratios : 2:1
• Unit staffing description: RNs and Unit secretary/COVID runner. Total care is provided by RNs.
• Type of equipment: Ventilators, Alaris IV pumps, Balloon pumps, ventriculostomy drains, glucometers. Use of iMobile phones and technology by all staff in the hospital. PPE- includes mask, face shields, goggles, PAPR’s and hoods for our COVID-19 patients.
• Documentation system: Meditech using EBCD (Evidence Based Clinical Documentation)
• Scheduling requirements: All nursing shift are twelve hours from 7 to 7; every other weekend. Holiday requirements
• Floating policy: Nursing staff will float to other Medical-Surgical Units in the hospital as needed with priority focus on pulling to Intensive Care Units.
