About The Role

The Office Manager role is instrumental in making sure everything in the AFLNT office runs smoothy on a daily basis by providing overall business administration and support. This is a pivotal role within the AFL NT team to ensure the efficient management of the office and key business functions. This role provides crucial support to AFLNT’s senior leadership and plays a part supporting reception at the Michael Long Learning and Leadership Centre (MLLLC). The role will also be involved in and lead other projects that arise.

Please note this is a max-term position until 23 October 2026.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF

Key Accountabilities

  • Assisting with all administrative tasks and all matters relating to the AFLNT Office and MLLLC
  • First point of contact for all office related key business functions, including connection with national business units such as Finance, IT, Human Resources and Insurance
  • Provide day-to-day business support to the Head of AFLNT
  • Assist with the operations of AFLNT/MLLLC Reception and completion of reception duties as required
  • Support the Leadership Team with induction process for new starters
  • Coordinate all team meetings, leadership meetings and team engagement activities/ functions as required
  • Support the Finance team with the management of Motor Vehicle Fleet including all vehicle related matters and processing Administration cost centre invoices
  • Identify and implement new projects that enhance AFLNT’s business operations
  • Support and contribute to the success of the broader team, including through work within other business units such as events
