?? Your Role

As the Copywriter / Editorial Lead at Otovo, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the voice and narrative of the company. Working within the central marketing team, you will craft compelling, industry-leading content that communicates Otovo’s value proposition across various formats and channels. Your work will directly contribute to increasing awareness and engagement in the fast-evolving solar energy sector.

In this key role, you will lead content creation efforts, ensuring alignment with Otovo’s brand identity while tailoring content to resonate with diverse audiences across Europe. You will also spearhead the centralization and localization of content, working closely with country teams to adapt materials into multiple languages. Additionally, you will oversee and refine Otovo’s social media strategy, ensuring consistency and excellence in all digital touchpoints.

?? Your Responsibilities

  • Content Creation: Develop high-quality, engaging content about solar energy and Otovo’s offerings, including blog posts, articles, white papers, video scripts, newsletters, and more.
  • Value Proposition Translation: Effectively translate Otovo’s unique selling points into clear, persuasive, and audience-friendly messaging across all content formats.
  • Content Localization: Lead the process of adapting central content to local languages and cultural nuances, collaborating with regional teams to ensure accuracy and relevance.
  • Social Media Strategy: Design and execute a cohesive social media strategy to elevate Otovo’s presence, drive engagement, and grow followers across platforms.
  • Editorial Calendar Management: Plan and oversee a centralized editorial calendar, aligning content production with marketing campaigns and business goals.
  • SEO Optimization: Work closely with the head of SEO to ensure content is optimized for search engines, improving visibility and organic traffic.
  • Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with designers, marketers, and product teams to produce multimedia content that supports Otovo’s broader marketing objectives.
  • Trend Analysis: Stay updated on solar energy industry trends, audience preferences, and digital marketing innovations to inform and refine content strategies.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Use analytics to assess content performance and identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Experience: 5+ years in copywriting, content marketing, or editorial roles, ideally within a fast-paced, international, or tech environment.
  • Creative Excellence: A strong portfolio showcasing your ability to create persuasive and engaging content across multiple formats and media.
  • Creativity & Innovation: A passion for creative marketing, with the ability to develop unique, impactful ideas that elevate Otovo’s brand and messaging.
  • Strategic Thinking: Experience in crafting and managing content and social media strategies that drive measurable results.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with or enthusiasm for renewable energy, sustainability, or technology topics is a plus.
  • Localization Expertise: Proven ability to manage content adaptation for multiple languages and regions.
  • Project Management: Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Collaboration: A team player with excellent communication skills who thrives in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English; additional European languages are a strong advantage.
