Title: Associate Director of Recruiting Operations-Football

Position Summary

Duke University is seeking a qualified candidate for the Associate Director of Recruiting Operations position within the football program. The Associate Director of Recruiting Operations will provide assistance and implementation for on campus recruiting needs.

Qualifications

Qualifications include an undergraduate degree and minimum of 1 year of experience working with on campus football recruiting

Essential Functions

  • Assist will the planning and organization of Official and Unofficial Visits, Junior Days, Game Days and other Recruiting events
  • Assist with operational details of travel and lodging for official visits
  • Assist with transportation including bus and car rentals
  • Gather and organize appropriate paperwork to recruits and staff
  • Coordinate itineraries and activities for the on-campus events.
  • Assist with on-campus unofficial visits by providing itinerary structure, event set-up (if appropriate) and provide oversight to staff during event.
  • Provide appropriate game day needs such as guest list, ticket approvals, sideline operations, pre-game and post-game operations
  • Assist Recruiting General Manager and Director of Recruiting with student application requirements
  • Communicate with potential student-athletes and counselors as appropriate within NCAA Compliance
  • Communicate within the NCAA Eligibility Center and Duke Athletics Compliance Office
  • Coordinate and attend onboarding events for students on campus
  • Work with departmental creative team regarding digital communication plans.
  • Appropriately expense and code all recruiting items with the business office.

Minimum Qualifications

Anticipated Pay Range:

Duke University provides an annual base salary range for this position as USD $48,000.00 to USD $76,400.00. Duke University considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills; internal peer equity; as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.

Education

Work requires analytical, communications, and organizational skills generally acquired through completion of a bachelor’s degree program.

Experience
