We are looking for a Software Engineer Intern who will be part of our Academic Technology. The role supports the Publishing solutions team with the delivery of metadata management of book products and the roll out of the new journals metadata management.

What will you do in this role?

Working under the supervision of the Software Development Manager in Manila, you will:

  • Assist in programming of new and existing web applications.
  • Assist in research, evaluation, recommendation, and development of new software features.
  • Assist in the production of clear and complete written technical specifications and other documentation as required.
  • Communicate and collaborate with different team members and provide regular update on the progress with management.

What makes you the ideal candidate for this position?

You will be ideal for this part if you are:

  • Pursuing Bachelor’s/College Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of fundamentals of programming
  • Knowledge on HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and database applications
  • Willingness to learn technologies.
  • Good communication skill
