Job Description
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in Go-to-Market Strategy, Sales Operations, Strategy and Operations, Management Consulting, Finance, or Program Management.
- Experience managing rhythm of business activities, such as annual business planning, headcount management, running business reviews, or goal setting.
- Experience with data analysis, generating data-driven insights to influence decision-making.
- Experience with machine learning and other advanced forecasting techniques.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience tailoring and delivering compelling reports and presentations to an audience, asking strategic questions, and leading conversations that drive results and efficiencies.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and influencing without authority to drive operational excellence, successful delivery of priority initiatives, process improvements, and change management.
- Knowledge of enterprise customers and cloud technologies, products and market landscape.

The Google Cloud Go-to-Market Strategy and Operations team acts as trusted advisors, partnering with Sales, Customer Engineering, Finance, Marketing, Partners, and Google Cloud Consulting to plan, strategize, and run the business in a transformational way.
As a Strategy and Operations Manager, you will be responsible for defining, landing, and executing on key priorities to drive operational excellence, business growth, and productivity. You will be responsible for helping with planning, goal setting, territory design, expansion plans, and managing business activities. You will provide business insights, ensure cross-functional alignment, drive strategic partnerships, and execute new initiatives.

Responsibilities
- Build relationships with key stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Product, and Executive leadership, and communicate forecast updates, gather feedback, and ensure alignment on assumptions and methodologies.
- Analyze datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies impacting forecasting accuracy.
- Track forecast accuracy against actual results, identify root causes of variances, and collaborate with stakeholders to implement corrective actions.
- Identify opportunities to streamline forecasting processes, leverage automation, and improve efficiency, while considering stakeholder feedback and ensuring minimal disruption.
- Design, develop, and maintain forecasting models that accurately predict Google Cloud’s business performance, incorporating feedback and input from diverse stakeholders.
