Job Description
A typical day will include: working closely with the physician assistant, physician. The RN/LPN is responsible for the intake of patient reason for visit, medication reconciliation, verification of the patient’s medical/family/social/surgical history, administration of medications if needed, assisting providers with in-office procedures, providing education for patient and/or caregiver, providing phone triage, and promoting preventative measures to optimize the patient outcome. Additional duties include, scheduling surgeries, preoperative appointments, prior authorizations for radiology imaging and medications.
