Job Overview
We are in search of a dedicated and meticulous Senior Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team remotely. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the financial records of diverse clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all aspects of bookkeeping.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain precise financial records by scrutinizing balance sheets and general ledger accounts for a variety of clients
- Generate and reconcile month-end financial reports for all assigned clients
- Supervise and mentor junior bookkeepers to uphold high standards of quality in their work
- Reconcile accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll for clients
- File sales taxes and other special taxes on behalf of clients
- Assist in special projects as needed to support team objectives and client requirements
Required Skills
- Minimum of 5 years of bookkeeping experience
- Proficient in QuickBooks Online, with 3-5 years of practical experience
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, capable of creating and managing complex spreadsheets
- Familiarity with MS Outlook and MS Word
- Strong ability to juggle multiple clients and adhere to strict deadlines
- Comprehensive understanding of auditing and reconciling payroll reports with the general ledger
- Professionalism and discretion in handling confidential information
- A positive, service-oriented mindset with a drive for tackling new challenges
- Detail-oriented, organized, and effective in both written and verbal communication
- Demonstrated leadership skills and a proactive approach to team collaboration
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- A collaborative team player with a positive “can-do” attitude
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Portuguese is advantageous but not mandatory
- This full-time position operates Monday through Friday, with potential for remote work in the future.
