Position Overview

As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be an integral member of our on-site maintenance team, reporting directly to the Community Manager. Your primary responsibilities will encompass overseeing property maintenance, addressing resident work requests, implementing preventative strategies, and ensuring units are prepared for new residents. Key duties include:

  • Responding promptly to resident service inquiries.
  • Documenting updates, resolutions, and outstanding issues within our property management software.
  • Repairing or replacing fixtures in both individual units and common areas, ensuring optimal property aesthetics.
  • Executing preventative maintenance across the community.
  • Collaborating with team members on property maintenance tasks such as landscaping and cleanliness.
  • Identifying and rectifying any hazardous conditions present on the property.
  • Preparing vacant units for incoming residents.
  • Contributing to a management culture that prioritizes outstanding customer service.

Required Skills

To thrive in this role, you should possess:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in on-site maintenance operations.
  • A background in customer service as part of a successful management team.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing HVAC, plumbing, and electrical issues.
  • Familiarity with building operating systems such as trash compactors and pool systems.
  • Competence in tile work, carpentry, and appliance repairs.
  • HVAC certification (mandatory) with CPO certification being preferred.
  • Relevant certifications or permits as required by local regulations.
  • A valid driver’s license.
  • Experience with property management software; familiarity with Entrata is a plus.
