Job Description
Ownership of accurate stock forecast documents, updated weekly.?
To run a weekly client stock review session, to influence/advise volume forecast commitments, in line with LINK lead times and current run rates.?
Delivery schedules to be created for new/existing re-orders and tracked to completion.?
Identification of risk across the procurement and stock platforms via various reporting documents?
Weekly meeting with HK contact to ensure short, medium and long term issues identified in a timely manner?
Daily contact of LINK Third Party Warehouse for consumables ?
Consumables product catalogue upkeep ?
Creation and upkeep of product spec sheets, to be completed for every new item, and distributed to all applicable supply chain teams (Equity, Franchise, PTS, Express) in collaboration with all LINK suppliers.?
Audit trail to be completed for all orders – All related documents from quote to delivery within the UK, this will include SO/PO/Product Spec sheets, Images, Testing and Inspection to be collated and filed within sharepoint?
Manage product issues identified through LINK through to satisfactory resolution?
Own and drive to completion client pricing exercises and due diligence on new product ranges.
Client Management
Weekly client calls – both scheduled and ad hoc in conjunction with the wider Link account team?
New product cost approvals via the main client only (Procurement).?
Frequent (mostly unscheduled) communication (calls/emails) with supplier to discuss new product set up, call off, stock reorders etc.?
Knowledge of each division’s requirements for consumables, their order process, stock call off process and re-order frequency – need to be able to take last minute calls
Manufacturing Knowledge
Good understanding of the manufacturing process and timelines for the suite of products.?
Good understanding of the receiving and of Testing and Inspection reports?
Good understanding of overseas freight; imports, logistics, shipping terms.
Skills Required
Advanced Excel is a must?
Teams – shared file management using bespoke Teams group ?
To have a strong team attitude?
Excellent oral and written communication skills?
First class, effective organisational skills?
A pro-active approach to stock management ?
Experience of managing and working as part of a team?
Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining a cool outlook?
