Data Analyst (Healthcare)

Job Description

Main Responsibilities:

  • Collect, clean, and validate data from various sources to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Analyse large datasets to identify trends, patterns and insights.
  • Create reports., dashboards and visualization to communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Present actionable insights to support decision-making processes.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g. doctors, nurses, administrators,) to understand their data needs
  • Identify opportunities for process automation and optimization using data-drive approaches.
  • Translate data findings into strategic recommendations to improve business performance.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for ensuring that the admin staff receive appropriate induction, orientation and training so that they possess appropriate skills and knowledge to carry out their jobs.
  • Manage a group of admin staff providing admin support to the divisions doctors. He/She will conduct appraisals for these staff with inputs of the division doctors.
  • Responsible for rooms and workstation allocation for the staff in the department.

Requirements:

  • Degree from a recognized institution.
  • 2years relevant working experience in data analysis
  • Strong in data analysis tools such as Excel
  • Have practical knowledge and/or experiences in process improvements and innovation.
  • Strong statistical analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Analytical and with good communication skills (written & spoken).
