Job Responsibility:

  • Oversee the backend operations for processing loans against mutual funds through the app.
  • Work closely with the tech team to ensure that the app meets all documentation and compliance standards for loan approval.
  • Ensure that loan transactions processed through the app are handled accurately, promptly, and in compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards (e.g., RBI, SEBI, etc.).
  • Develop, update, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to guide all operations, ensuring consistent execution of loan processing.
  • Monitor operational workflows to ensure smooth end-to-end processing from application submission to loan disbursement via the app.
  • Ensure that all loan applications, transactions, and mutual fund valuations processed through the app are reconciled accurately in the backend systems.
  • Regularly perform reconciliation of loan records, ensuring that all data, such as loan disbursed, repayment status, and mutual fund valuations, is updated and consistent.
  • Conduct regular assessments of mutual fund collateral via reports, tracking value changes and taking appropriate action when necessary.
  • Implement risk management protocols to mitigate potential risks, including timely notifications to clients or internal teams when collateral values change significantly.
  • Supervise the backend operations team to ensure efficient processing of loans
  • Act as a point of escalation for resolving customer queries related to loans
  • Liaise with the customer service team to provide real-time solutions for issues raised and ensure customers are updated.
  • Prepare detailed monthly/quarterly reports on loan portfolio performance and operational efficiency, including key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes that impact the digital loan process, adjusting backend processes or app features as needed to ensure compliance.

External Skills And Expertise

  • Minimum 3-7 years of experience in Loan against MF/stocks backend operations.
  • Proficient in data analysis, reporting tools, and operational metrics.
  • Familiarity with system integration and technology-driven process optimization.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with loan management systems and processes.
  • Knowledge of automation tools and process improvement methodologies.
