Job Description
The role reports into the Team Leader of the Remote Platform Relationship Team and will work closely with the Platform Service and Experience teams, and the wider Platform Relationship Management Team. The role holder will also work to win and onboard new relationships and deliver against platform sales targets.
The role involves extensive contact with advisers and their support staff. This will be predominantly on the telephone and via virtual meetings. The role holder will take primary responsibility for the accurate administration and growth of their client’s business with 7IM.
Responsibilities
- Build relationships with advisers and their support staff and train them to use the 7IM platform.
- Deliver against agreed targets and maintain high levels of client engagement.
- Make effective use of MI to drive a data-led engagement strategy to meet agreed KPIs.
- Ensure all relevant activity is accurately recorded in CRM.
- Build an in-depth understanding of our clients’ businesses and promote additional 7IM products & services where appropriate.
- Work in collaboration with the wider Platform Team and Business Development teams to win and embed new platform clients.
- Increase the adoption of platform processes that create efficiencies for 7IM.
- Upon delivery of new functionality, ensure this is embedded in adviser businesses.
- Take ownership and completion of queries from advisers.
- Build a detailed platform knowledge.
- Take responsibility to ensure all internal and external communications are accurate, appropriate, and delivered in a timely manner.
- Ensure that the FCA policy of Treating Customers Fairly is followed as well as working in accordance with 7IM’s values.
- Ensure that all compliance requirements (including training and tests) are completed within required timescales.
- In this role, it is essential that you consistently follow the FCA’s Consumer Duty principles. You are expected to act in good faith, prevent potential harm, and actively support our customers in achieving their financial goals.
- Support of regional events and campaigns.

About You
- Relationship building skills to rapidly establish a high level of trust with clients, both in terms of professional and personal competence and trustworthiness.
- Highly motivated to build up a panel of deeply engaged platform supporters.
- Effective presentational skills used to clearly and passionately communicate the 7IM platform proposition to prospective and existing clients.

- Be able to interact and work effectively with Platform Service managers to deliver outstanding service delivery to 7IM platform clients.
Knowledge
- Knowledge of the UK platform market, including the regulatory environment.
- Experience of retail investments and investment management (including operational knowledge) would be advantageous.
- Understanding of the advice process and advisory market in the UK.
- Relevant regulation and policy knowledge.
- Excellent working knowledge of e-business, especially in applications to Financial Advisers.
- Understanding of commercial objectives of team and 7IM.
Qualifications
- Relevant Financial Services qualifications will be advantageous.

- Flexible attitude to duties as the role evolves due to changes in the platform market and business focus.
- Flexible attitude to working hours – sometimes the workload will demand additional commitment outside the contractual hours.
