Job Description
We are looking for an experienced project officer with a strong track record of delivering projects within a complex environment. There is an opportunity to join our Research and Innovation (R&I) Team to support us in the development and delivery of a new collaborative project funded by the NIHR Northwest Regional Research Delivery Network (RRDN). This role will primarily be responsible for the planning, setup and execution of a project between Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust (GMMH) and Northern Care Alliance (NCA). The key priorities for this project are to increase access to mental health research for patients in acute care settings and improve access to acute care research for mental health service users.
The postholder will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring systems to manage the project. They will identify risks and ensure that appropriate mitigation is applied to ensure that quality standards are met, and project outputs are delivered on time. They should demonstrate exceptional project management skills, be effective senior administrators with responsibility for line management (where required) and have advanced communication and interpersonal skills.
