The Marcone Commercial Kitchen Group (CKG) is a business unit within Marcone. Marcone is the leading distributor of residential appliance parts, HVAC parts and equipment, plumbing and pool products. The Commercial Kitchen Group is focused on distributing original equipment parts to foodservice operators in partnership with the leading manufacturers and service providers. Marcone CKG provides value to the manufacturers and service providers enabling optimal equipment “up-time” for operators at the lowest total costs.
As the Vice President of National Accounts for the Marcone Commercial Kitchen Group, you will lead and manage complex regional and national accounts B&I, Foodservice Management, and Chain Account customers. Your primary responsibilities include formulating and executing strategies, overseeing financial metrics, and enhancing customer relationships to drive part sales and margin. You will collaborate and work closely with field sales teams, marketing, and interact with the entire CKG team to implement initiatives and drive business growth. The ideal candidate has commercial foodservice experience with a large national or regional chain restaurant and/or experience working directly with foodservice management companies.
What will you be doing?
- Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with national, regional, and chain accounts across North America.
- Frequent in-person meetings, conferences, and presentations to customers at all levels, including C-suite.
- Act as the primary contact for key clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met while providing expertise on Marcone distribution options.
- Forecast sales, track key metrics, and analyze trends to optimize account performance and inventory management. Be a key contributor to sales forecasting.
- Provide valuable feedback from clients to enhance value propositions, contributing to the continuous improvement of our offerings. Develop and implement strategic account plans tailored to the unique needs of the commercial kitchen equipment parts distribution industry and the expansion commercial kitchen parts market share.
- Conduct thorough analysis of the competitive landscape, understanding market trends, and identifying opportunities to differentiate and outperform competitors.
- Monitor account performance, track key metrics, and analyze trends to optimize account performance providing regular reports to the executive team.
- Develop and implement sales plans, encompassing market analysis, account opportunities, short and long-term goals, strategic initiatives, and measurable outcomes including individual account plans, specification and upgrade recommendations, and sales strategies.
- Analyze data and trends to develop insights that enhance customer retention, drive incremental revenue, and create a competitive advantage.
What we need from you?
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of seven years of proven sales or relevant experience.
- Implicit understanding of the national account channel.
- Thorough understanding of parts distribution.
- Proficient in MS Office Suites.
- Ability to travel 50%+ per month
