Job Description
The role will report to the Director of Human Resources.
Conveniently located adjacent to Rome Termini Station and a short distance from the Colosseum, the 238-room Hyatt Regency Rome Central is a newly renovated contemporary 5-star hotel offering premium business services and one of Italy’s most dazzling leisure rooftop experiences.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage comprehensive training programs for all levels of staff, focusing on skill enhancement, leadership development, and service excellence.
- Develop both onboarding and ongoing training content tailored to organizational needs.
- Facilitate comprehensive onboarding programs for new hires, ensuring a seamless integration into the team and alignment with the company’s values, policies, and operational standards.
- Collaborate with department heads to identify training needs and ensure alignment with business goals.
- Deliver in-person and virtual training sessions to employees
- Coordinate with external trainers for specialized training needs.
- Monitor and evaluate training sessions to ensure effective delivery and learning outcomes.
- Create personalized development plans for employees based on performance reviews and career aspirations.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to staff to foster their growth within the company.
- Track and report on employee progression, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Ensure adherence to internal and external quality standards, policies, and procedures across all departments.
- Develop, implement and monitor quality control processes and conduct regular audits and assessments of services, products, and operations to identify areas for improvement and ensure consistent quality delivery.
- Integrate ESG principles into learning initiatives, fostering sustainability, inclusion, and responsible leadership.
Skills and requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certifications in L&D or quality management is a plus.
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in a Learning & Development role
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Fluent in Italian and English language, both spoken and written
