Junior IT Engineer
Job Description
Main Responsibilities
- You will be part of the Huawei Switzerland Delivery & Service team and support them in all tasks
- Establish networking environment by designing system configuration; directing system installation; defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards
- Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS)
- Perform network maintenance and system upgrades, including service packs, patches, hotfixes, and security configurations
- Provide support and troubleshooting to resolve issues
- Participate in various channel technology activities and enable Huawei channel partners Requirements:
Recently graduated a technical university in 2023/2024
Fluent in English and German is a must; further languages are an advantage
First work experience or internships in the IT Infrastructure area is preferred
Understanding of Switzerland’s ICT industry
Self-motivated, proactive and target-oriented
High flexibility and ability to manage multiple tasks
Ability to work in a culturally diverse, high-paced organization
