Position Summary
The sales leader for Riley Salon Resources (based in Largo, Florida) is a data driven and results oriented leader responsible for driving revenue growth, managing key relationships with salon professionals, and barbershops, while overseeing a high-performing sales team. This role involves crafting and executing strategies to organically grow our existing business, expand new customers, optimize sales operations through leveraging the latest technology for order processing and customer experience, and align sales initiatives with the company’s mission of delivering high-quality Professional Salon products and solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Sales Leadership:
- Develop and implement a robust sales strategy tailored to the Professional Salon market, focusing on salons, spas, Barbershops, and independent stylists/barbers.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for market expansion, including new geographic territories, product categories, and distribution channels.
- Align sales strategies with industry trends and the company’s long-term vision.
Team Management And Development
- Build, mentor, and lead a sales team that understands the unique needs of the beauty industry.
- Set clear goals and expectations, providing coaching, training, and development opportunities to elevate team performance.
- Foster a collaborative and customer-focused sales culture that aligns with company values.
Revenue And Pipeline Management
- Oversee sales forecasting, and revenue tracking.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sell-through rates, average order size, and customer retention.
- Drive consistent revenue growth through strategic account management and upselling opportunities.
Customer Relationship Management
- Cultivate relationships with salons, stylists, distributors, and retail partners to drive loyalty and brand advocacy.
- Serve as a key contact for high-value clients, addressing their needs and offering solutions that align with their business goals.
- Ensure top-tier customer satisfaction by aligning sales efforts with client expectations and company standards.
Collaboration And Communication
- Partner with marketing to develop targeted campaigns, promotions, and trade show strategies that drive sales.
- Work closely with brands to ensure offerings meet the evolving needs of beauty professionals and consumers.
- Communicate sales performance, opportunities, and challenges to executive leadership.
Market Analysis And Adaptation
- Stay informed on beauty industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands.
- Use insights to refine sales approaches, adapt to changing customer needs, and maintain a competitive edge.
- Identify emerging markets
Qualifications
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years in sales, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within the beauty supply industry or a related field.
- Proven success in driving revenue growth and expanding market share in beauty or personal care products. Experience with leveraging customer focused technology to drive a smoother& faster customer purchasing process.
- Familiarity with the needs of salons, stylists, and industry professionals.
Skills
- Strong leadership and team-building capabilities.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Proficiency in CRM platforms updated point of sale systems (e.g. Shopify), and sales tools specific to the beauty (or similar) industry.
