IT Project & Portfolio Coordinator

Are you enthusiastic about exciting projects in the financial industry? Do you enjoy working with internal and external interfaces and you are good at organizing? Then become part of our IT Program & Service Management team that provides support to the Securities Services area at SIX.

What You Will Do

• Gather an overall overview of the IT project portfolio and provide the C-level with insights and status of the projects
• Develop the role of Project Manager and/or IT coordinator in key projects that contribute to the success of the Securities Services business
• Support IT Engineering teams with continuous improvement tasks: search of synergies, search of efficiency using new tools or using the existing tools on a different way, coaching them in terms of software development methodology, capacity management, etc.
• Work for a multi-location area with colleagues located in both Spain and Switzerland

What You Bring

• At least 4 years of experience in project management or in PMO, ideally in the financial industry or consultancy, with strong organizational and management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines
• Good communication skills as well as systematic and accurate working methods
• Open-minded approach, keen on listening and understanding different ways of thinking and reach consensus
• Excellent communication skills in English; Spanish and/or German would be appreciated
• Availability to travel sporadically (aproximately once every 3-4 months)
