Job Description
Job Responsibilities
- Collects and enters data into the department’s application(s).
- Prepares communications and reports using desktop software.
- Answers phones, greets visitors, and responds to general inquiries.
- Directs individuals to the appropriate and proper resources.
- Seeks answers to questions and acts as a resource to requesters.
- Provides overall administrative support to the Human Resource department (HR), including maintaining, processing, documenting employee records.
- Compiles and prepares data for statistical reporting.
- Answers employee questions about policy and procedures and refers to subject matter experts as needed.
- Provides points of entry coverage in the Human Resource Department
- Assists in projects as assigned, including HR events, benefits open enrollment, employee communications, and company-wide meetings.
- Performs other duties as assigned, including filing and processing mail.
- May schedule/coordinate meetings, conferences, catering, special events, appointments, and travel arrangements.
- Orders and stocks supplies.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or higher in related field required upon hire
- A combination of education, training and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- A minimum of 2 years relevant experience preferred
- No licensure/certification/registration required
