Job Summary

Performs a variety of support functions for the Human Resources department in order to provide assistance to employees regarding compensation, benefits, and employment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Collects and enters data into the department’s application(s).
  • Prepares communications and reports using desktop software.
  • Answers phones, greets visitors, and responds to general inquiries.
  • Directs individuals to the appropriate and proper resources.
  • Seeks answers to questions and acts as a resource to requesters.
  • Provides overall administrative support to the Human Resource department (HR), including maintaining, processing, documenting employee records.
  • Compiles and prepares data for statistical reporting.
  • Answers employee questions about policy and procedures and refers to subject matter experts as needed.
  • Provides points of entry coverage in the Human Resource Department
  • Assists in projects as assigned, including HR events, benefits open enrollment, employee communications, and company-wide meetings.
  • Performs other duties as assigned, including filing and processing mail.
  • May schedule/coordinate meetings, conferences, catering, special events, appointments, and travel arrangements.
  • Orders and stocks supplies.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree or higher in related field required upon hire
  • A combination of education, training and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • A minimum of 2 years relevant experience preferred
  • No licensure/certification/registration required
