FLEET TECHNICAL DUTY MANAGER

The Fleet Technical Duty Manager is responsible for executing assigned fleet projects, which encompass aircraft induction, phase-out, sale, and reconfiguration. This role ensures that all technical project tasks are completed accurately and efficiently in accordance with company standards and regulatory requirements. Reporting directly to the Fleet Technical Manager, the Duty Manager maintains effective communication, providing progress updates and addressing any technical or operational issues that may arise during project execution.

MAIN DUTIES

• Carry out assigned tasks for aircraft induction, phase-out, sale, or configuration changes, following guidance of the Fleet Technical Manager.
• Prepare and manage all necessary documentation for assigned projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards in coordination with the technical departments.
• Coordinate with engineering, maintenance, and other relevant teams to implement project requirements such as lessor/buyer aircraft physical inspections
• Conduct inspections and quality checks as required and as applicable, ensuring project deliverables meet technical specifications.
• Identify and resolve technical issues during project execution, escalating critical issues to the Fleet Technical Manager as necessary.
• Adhere to instructions & responsibilities as assigned by the Fleet Technical Manager
• Provide regular progress updates to the Fleet Technical Manager, highlighting any delays, issues, or resource needs.
• Ensure all tasks are performed in compliance with safety regulations and best practices.

EDUCATION & TRAINING

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Aviation Technology, or a related field.
• Aircraft Maintenance License or equivalent certification.

Experience

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in a technical role, involving fleet induction, phase-out, or reconfiguration projects.
