Job Summary
The Night Auditor & Security Officer is a dual-role position responsible for ensuring the safety and security of hotel guests and employees while also delivering an exceptional guest experience during overnight hours. This individual will uphold safety and security standards, complete incident reports, and handle accounting and front office-related tasks with precision.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and oversee the safety and security of hotel premises, guests, and employees.
- Adhere to and enforce safety and security standards, responding promptly to incidents and completing detailed reports as required.
- Provide outstanding guest service during overnight hours, consistent with daytime front desk standards.
- Perform nightly accounting tasks, including generating accurate accounting reports using Property Management Software and completing the night audit in compliance with property standards
- Maintain a thorough understanding of property policies, procedures, and expectations to address guest inquiries and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Promote and embody the company’s culture, values, and reputation with team members, guests, vendors, and partners.

- At least 1 year in the hospitality industry
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to resolve conflicts professionally and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, especially when handling accounting tasks and reports.
- Ability to maintain a calm and focused demeanor in high-pressure or emergency situations.
- Familiarity with Property Management Software and security procedures is preferred.
