Senior Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team and contribute to the financial success of our organization.

Responsibilities

• Financial Accounting: Oversee the full accounting cycle, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
• Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, assess financial performance, and provide insights to inform strategic decision-making.
• Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations, including preparing and filing tax returns.
• Internal Controls: Maintain and strengthen internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure financial accuracy.
• Audits: Coordinate with external auditors and provide necessary documentation.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and implement best practices.
• Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 4 years of experience in accounting and finance
• Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP or IFRS)
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite)
• Advanced Excel skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• CPA certification (preferred)
