Job description: Role Purpose

 

The F&P manager would be supporting Head of Planning for driving strategic initiatives and delivering actionable insights by providing overall support and work closely with the finance / business units head to help formulate and refine the strategy and financial projections for the Company.

Job Accountabilities & Activities

 

Budgeting:•    Work with respective finance /business heads to build annual budgets and forecasts, consolidating them into one overall budget and forecasts.•    Preparation of annual financial budget and succeeding forecast revisions in stipulated format•    Tracking budget / revised budget variances against actual results and forecast and ensure proper reason / explanations to variance. 

Financial Analyses:•    Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.•    Provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior management based on data analysis.

Process improvement /Automation:•    Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the FP&A function•    Transition manual consolidation practices for budgets and forecasts to automated solutions, with a preference for candidates with hands-on experience in planning tools•    Lead and execute Digital Finance transformation initiatives by identifying opportunities for technology adoption and process optimization.

Reporting:•    Review, compile and analyze companies’ monthly financials.•    Preparation of monthly management reports including consolidated results •    Prepare presentations for various OFC meetings as described in the reporting agenda i.e. Board, Excom and Monthly Management Meetings.•    Handle ad-hock requests as required by the Head of FP&A or senior leadership.•    Handle requests from zakat and treasury departments

Relationships Management:•    Build and manage relationships with finance / business teams of various companies and divisions to ensure meeting different needs and requirements and the smooth flow of different activities.

Audit:•    Provide support to the accounting team on preparing the audit requirements and keep track of submissions.•    Liaise with the group auditors for effective functioning of audit for the whole group

Education & Certifications

 

Graduation in Finance / Accounting(Professional qualification will be preferred) 

Required Years of Experience

6+ years of experience in F&P, financial analysis, or related roles.
