Job Description
We are seeking an entry-level accountant or business administrator with accounting skills to join our team. This role primarily involves managing the office front desk, maintaining supply inventory, and supporting our accounting team with accounts payable tasks. Applicants should have at least an associate degree in accounting or business administration or plan to complete their degree soon. While some experience with administrative or accounting tasks is preferred, it’s not required. Description In-office support to administrative and accounting departments Create and maintain file systems, both electronic and physical Correspond with stakeholders professionally Event and training registrations on behalf of staff members Mail distribution Maintain office supply inventory and organization Company vehicle administration Accounts payable and receivable payment processing Accounts payable and receivable reconciliation monthly Review and filing of receipts Data entry into accounting or administrative systems Gathers necessary documents to assist outside auditors Handling of confidential, sensitive, records Errands that involving driving a personal or company vehicle Performs other related duties as assigned Qualifications Minimum of an associate’s degree in accounting or business administration, or near completion of degree Knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Previous training or experience with accounting software regarding accounts payable and receivable transactions Excellent analytical skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail Excellent time management and ability to multi-task, with proven ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks independently Organizational skills Collaboration and team skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, including Word and Excel Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat Valid driver’s license Physical Requirements Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs at times Ability to drive distances up to 3 hours Working Conditions Full time position with onsite standard office hours If you are a career-oriented and highly motivated individual interested in being part of a growing firm, we want to hear from you!
