What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Collaborate with the QA Manager to uphold quality assurance standards throughout the project lifecycle
• Design and develop comprehensive test plans, scenarios, and scripts that adhere to established standards
• Execute various levels of testing, including functional, integration, acceptance, and regression testing
• Document software defects and validate their resolution while participating in product design reviews
• Develop and implement automation scripts for iterative conversion cycles

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Data Migration projects
• At least 5-7 years of experience in quality assurance, particularly in unemployment insurance benefits or similar fields
• Proficiency in executing various levels of testing, including functional, integration, acceptance, and regression testing
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in relational database management systems (RDBMS)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Minimum 2 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server as a relational database management system (RDBMS)
• 3-5 years of experience with Agile or hybrid Agile methodologies
• Prior experience working with unemployment insurance systems or similar government programs
• Familiarity with Agile tools like Jira, Trello, Asana, or Azure DevOps
• Relevant certifications such as Certified Software Tester (CSTE) or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)
