Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This role is crucial in supporting the financial health and operational efficiency of Security Equity Partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately record all financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.
• Process invoices, track expenses, and ensure timely payments and collections.
• Regularly reconcile bank statements and financial accounts to ensure accuracy.
• Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for management review.
• Support the development and monitoring of budgets and financial forecasts.
• Adhere to legal and company policies in financial transactions and reporting.
• Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping or related experience.
• Skills:
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
