We are seeking a dedicated Medical Billing Specialist to join our esteemed neurosurgery practice. This pivotal role involves the submission of claims, processing payments, and overseeing accounts receivable. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit both in-network and out-of-network insurance claims.
• Verify the accuracy of coding (ICD-10, CPT) and ensure adherence to billing standards.
• Manage payment postings and address any denied or rejected claims while following prompt filing protocols.
• Generate patient invoices and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Respond to patient queries concerning billing and insurance matters.
• Collaborate closely with insurance companies to confirm coverage and benefits.
• Review pre-authorizations and coordinate effectively with the clinical team.
• Ensure all billing practices are in compliance with HIPAA and healthcare regulations.
