This is a remote position.

Responsibilities:

Onboarding & Offboarding:

Assist with new hire onboarding process, including:

  • Preparing offer letters and employment contracts.
  • Conducting background checks and reference verifications.
  • Scheduling and coordinating new hire orientations.
  • Issuing employee identification cards and other necessary documents.

Manage employee offboarding process, including:

  • Conducting exit interviews.
  • Revoking employee access to company systems.
  • Processing employee equipment returns.

Employee Records Management:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee files (both electronic and physical).
  • Assist with data entry and maintenance in HRIS system.
  • Prepare and process employee paperwork (e.g., I-9 forms, benefit enrollment forms).

Benefits Administration:

Assist with the administration of employee benefits programs, including:

  • Answering employee questions regarding benefits.
  • Assisting with open enrollment processes.
  • Processing benefit changes and claims.

Recruitment Support:

Assist with the recruitment process, including:

  • Posting job openings on various job boards.
  • Screening resumes and applications.
  • Scheduling interviews.

Other Administrative Duties:

  • Coordinate employee events and activities.
  • Maintain office supplies and equipment.
  • Prepare reports and presentations as needed.
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR department.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s Degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in an HR or administrative role preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of HR laws and regulations a plus.
