This is a remote position.
Responsibilities:
Onboarding & Offboarding:
Assist with new hire onboarding process, including:
- Preparing offer letters and employment contracts.
- Conducting background checks and reference verifications.
- Scheduling and coordinating new hire orientations.
- Issuing employee identification cards and other necessary documents.
Manage employee offboarding process, including:
- Conducting exit interviews.
- Revoking employee access to company systems.
- Processing employee equipment returns.
Employee Records Management:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee files (both electronic and physical).
- Assist with data entry and maintenance in HRIS system.
- Prepare and process employee paperwork (e.g., I-9 forms, benefit enrollment forms).
Benefits Administration:
Assist with the administration of employee benefits programs, including:
- Answering employee questions regarding benefits.
- Assisting with open enrollment processes.
- Processing benefit changes and claims.
Recruitment Support:
Assist with the recruitment process, including:
- Posting job openings on various job boards.
- Screening resumes and applications.
- Scheduling interviews.
Other Administrative Duties:
- Coordinate employee events and activities.
- Maintain office supplies and equipment.
- Prepare reports and presentations as needed.
- Provide general administrative support to the HR department.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s Degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in an HR or administrative role preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of HR laws and regulations a plus.
