Role Description:

The System Integration Manager is responsible for the technical development, testing integration, volume, and acceptance testing of the overall Dematic solution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for as-sold validation at turnover from Sales to Project execution. Can we build what was sold
  • Participation in all engineering discussions and actively participate in the project
  • Attend & facilitate layout discussed internally and with the customer
  • Attend & facilitate controls discussions internally and with the customer
  • Attend & support the Functional Description Specification Workshop(s) internal and with the customer
  • Generate System Specifications for customer approval and understanding of the system
  • Define & agree on interfaces between components systems (HW/SW/Controls/IT/Subs)
  • Coordinate required simulation updates and integration of results into the project
  • Create & execute test planning and management to verify the completed system:
  • Software Acceptance Testing (FAT)
  • Internal emulation testing
  • System Integration Testing
  • System Throughput Testing
  • System Acceptance Testing
  • Guide System tuning and definition of adjustments.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Master or Advanced Degree in Engineering, preferred
  • 7+ years’ experience in engineering with demonstrated experience in the material handling industry preferred
  • Functional leadership and expert communications
  • Demonstrated ability to create technical documentation.
  • Ability to be customer-facing, good with customer interaction.
  • Collaborative and effective team player and able to work with teams who are regionally located
  • Team player with the ability to communicate verbally and in writing
  • Organized and detail oriented
