What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

  • Lead and implement customer research projects to generate insights that inform brand and business strategy
  • Execute primary research initiatives, including writing briefs and delivering impactful reports
  • Establish best practices for customer research, ensuring data quality and reliability
  • Communicate and present research findings to senior leadership and cross-functional teams
  • Manage and develop a team of customer researchers employing various research methods

What Is Required (Qualifications)

  • 4-year college degree or equivalent experience
  • 8-10+ years of experience in customer research, market research, or consumer insights
  • 2+ years of previous people management experience
  • 4+ years of experience conducting primary quantitative and qualitative research
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to varied audiences

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Master’s degree or PhD in a relevant field
  • Experience working in a Retail/eCommerce environment
  • Methodological expertise in advanced quantitative methodologies such as segmentation and Conjoint analysis
  • Willingness to travel quarterly for business purposes
  • Proven ability to drive change and inspire enthusiasm within a team
