Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) Teacher to join our team in a fully remote capacity. This part-time role allows you to make a significant difference in the lives of students with hearing impairments while enjoying the flexibility of working from home.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide tailored instruction to both individual students and groups who are deaf or hard of hearing.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that address the unique needs of each student.
  • Create a welcoming and inclusive learning environment that promotes student success.
  • Collaborate with fellow educators, staff, and families to ensure the academic achievement of students.
  • Leverage virtual tools and resources to enhance the effectiveness of remote education.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional communication abilities, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in designing engaging curricula suited to diverse learners.
  • Familiarity with virtual educational tools and techniques.
  • A compassionate approach toward working with students with diverse needs.

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Teaching for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH).
  • Valid Montana Teaching Certification.
  • At least 2 years of teaching experience; experience in virtual teaching is an advantage.
  • Genuine dedication to empowering students and fostering their academic achievements.
