Job Overview

As a key member of the IT PMO in Dunnes Stores, the IT Project Administrator will be responsible for the delivery of IT changes across application and infrastructure projects in from initiation to implementation, within budget and timelines.

The role involves working closely with project teams, third parties and teams across the Dunnes Stores business, both within Head Office and our stores.

Responsibilities And Duties

  • Working with the Project and Program Managers on Project Governance and Reporting for the Project Steering Committee and the IT PMO on the status and progress for all projects, ensuring project goals are achieved.
  • Assisting the execution of the project plan, ensuring all work streams are delivered within budget, on schedule, and without any decline in quality.
  • Tracking tasks and activities across multiple projects in parallel, through project phases including analysis & design, execution, testing, service transition and closure.
  • Co-ordinating and working with end users and customers across the business to facilitate the transition of infrastructure, application and system change into operational support.
  • Assisting in the tracking of the project budget throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Acting as a key point of contact for end users and third parties during the project.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 2+ years’ experience in a technical role – Application Development or IT Operations.
  • Project Management qualification not essential: PMP, Scrum Master Certification, Prince2.
  • A proven track record of communicating with multiple customers or stakeholders.
  • Experience supporting new and updated services with IT and across business functions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Background in Retail or other regulated industry is beneficial.
  • Experience working with Project Management software is beneficial – e.g. Jira, Redmine.
