Key Responsibilities

  • Production Planning and Scheduling
  • Develop, maintain, and adjust production schedules to meet delivery deadlines.
  • Collaborate with various teams (engineering, purchasing, and logistics) to ensure resource availability and alignment with production plans.
  • Forecast production needs based on demand and inventory.
  • Process Optimization and Efficiency
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and streamline operations.
  • Utilize lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles to optimize production.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop strategies to improve them.
  • Quality Assurance and Compliance
  • Ensure production meets quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with the quality control team to implement and maintain rigorous quality control processes.
  • Address and resolve production issues promptly to minimize downtime and prevent quality deviations.
  • Team Leadership and Management
  • Lead, motivate, and manage production team members, providing direction and feedback.
  • Train and develop staff, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
  • Conduct performance reviews and address any personnel issues as needed.
