Key Responsibilities
- Production Planning and Scheduling
- Develop, maintain, and adjust production schedules to meet delivery deadlines.
- Collaborate with various teams (engineering, purchasing, and logistics) to ensure resource availability and alignment with production plans.
- Forecast production needs based on demand and inventory.
- Process Optimization and Efficiency
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and streamline operations.
- Utilize lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles to optimize production.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop strategies to improve them.
- Quality Assurance and Compliance
- Ensure production meets quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with the quality control team to implement and maintain rigorous quality control processes.
- Address and resolve production issues promptly to minimize downtime and prevent quality deviations.
- Team Leadership and Management
- Lead, motivate, and manage production team members, providing direction and feedback.
- Train and develop staff, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
- Conduct performance reviews and address any personnel issues as needed.
