Due to our continued growth, we are hiring for a Procurement Manager at M3 USA.
Job Description
- Meet with the various department heads and business unit leaders to help understand their purchasing needs
- Research supplies/vendors that meet the needs of the business unit leaders based on their review meetings & make purchases as needed
- Manage relationship with suppliers
- Establish, maintain, and update payables & PO processes (SOPs). Communicate these processes and process changes to the company as necessary
- Balance department budgets with needs
- Analyze data to produce reports and statistics on spending and savings.
- Coordinate & manage implementation plans for new programs
- Train new employees at the subsidiaries on the PO System
- Ensure that all procurement processes are followed and recorded accurately
- Oversee the AP department & ensure all responsibilities that fall within that department are accomplished timely and accurately
- Evaluate all agreements during M&A and attempt to merge contracts/agreements/vendors where possible
- Contract Management
- Review contracts with legal
- Negotiate Contracts
- Maintain renewal schedule to ensure there is adequate time before renewal to shop for new vendors/work on discounts
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field required
- 5+ years of procurement experience required
- Understanding of how to implement and manage procurement processes.
- Understanding how to manage PO processes
- Experience with Accounts Payable Departments
- Teamwork oriented, with excellent people skills
- Exceptional time management, organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
- Proactive and efficient
- Strong math skills
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills – both verbal and written
- Familiarity with NetSuite and Procurify preferred
- Experience with International Payments
