Position:

Key duties & Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome visitors, clients, and employees with a warm and friendly attitude.
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls, taking accurate messages and transferring calls as needed.
  • Maintain a tidy and organised front desk area, always ensuring a professional appearance
  • Assist in scheduling appointments, meetings, and conference room reservations.
  • Address minor administrative and operational issues that may arise, seeking guidance from superiors when necessary.
  • Manage a variety of tasks simultaneously, balancing the needs of visitors and employees.
  • Collaborate with other administrative staff to ensure seamless office administration and operations.

Requirements:

Key Skills and Qualifications to succeed in this role:

  • Proven experience as a receptionist or in a customer-facing role.
  • GCSE or equivalent in English & Maths.
  • Qualification in business administration or customer service desirable.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic office equipment.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Professional appearance and demeanour.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with diverse groups of people.
