Position:
Key duties & Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome visitors, clients, and employees with a warm and friendly attitude.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls, taking accurate messages and transferring calls as needed.
- Maintain a tidy and organised front desk area, always ensuring a professional appearance
- Assist in scheduling appointments, meetings, and conference room reservations.
- Address minor administrative and operational issues that may arise, seeking guidance from superiors when necessary.
- Manage a variety of tasks simultaneously, balancing the needs of visitors and employees.
- Collaborate with other administrative staff to ensure seamless office administration and operations.
Requirements:
Key Skills and Qualifications to succeed in this role:
- Proven experience as a receptionist or in a customer-facing role.
- GCSE or equivalent in English & Maths.
- Qualification in business administration or customer service desirable.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic office equipment.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Professional appearance and demeanour.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with diverse groups of people.
