Job Description
As a vital member of the content team, the Video Producer will support OSEG’s marketing efforts, brand storytelling, and digital engagement through exceptional video production.
What You’ll Do
- Produce High-Quality Video Content: Create and develop engaging marketing content that represents and promotes OSEG’s brands including the Ottawa 67’s, Ottawa REDBLACKS, and more;
- Plan and Execute Projects: Ideate, produce, direct, and edit videos and features for social media, web, digital advertising, campaigns, special events, and internal projects;
- Storytelling Through Video: Showcase storytelling ability by capturing compelling moments during training camps, practices, games, and community events;
- Collaborate Across Brands: Work closely with OSEG’s brand, content, and digital teams to ensure video content aligns with brand goals and strategies;
- Adapt to Industry Trends: Stay ahead of trends and techniques in video production to maintain a fresh and cutting-edge approach;
- Deliver with Precision: Edit and produce polished video and audio content for both internal and external clients.
What’s Needed
- Experience: 3-5 years of video production experience, either freelance or in an agency environment;
- Technical Skills:
- Expertise in video production, including writing, shooting, and editing in multiple styles and techniques;
- Proficiency with professional cameras (e.g., Sony FS7, Sony FX3, etc.);
- Advanced skills in Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, and Adobe Audition. Motion graphics expertise is an added advantage.
- Creativity and Storytelling: Proven ability to craft engaging narratives using video and audio;
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of trends in video production with a willingness to learn new techniques and styles;
- Time Management: Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently, meeting tight deadlines without compromising quality;
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment;
- Audio Proficiency: Strong experience in professional audio recording and editing;
- Sports Knowledge: Experience shooting sports content is an asset;
- Flexibility: Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed;
- Equipment: Must own and maintain professional video production equipment.
