To help us achieve our objectives, we are seeking a Business Analyst that will report to the Technical Program Manager and will use data to solve business problems, deliver actionable insights, and guide decisions. It involves creating dashboards, reports, and presentations to highlight trends, risks, and opportunities while collaborating with teams to improve tools and processes. The focus is on turning data into clear, impactful strategies for business success. This is a significant role in terms of scope, responsibility, and influence – you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse and senior stakeholders across different teams.

Responsibilities
- Business Understanding & Data-Driven Frameworks: Develop structured frameworks to analyze business questions, identify data issues, and escalate concerns while gaining a deep understanding of business needs.
- Data Analysis & Actionable Insights: Conduct and interpret data analyses, critically evaluate assumptions, and recommend appropriate analytical tools and methodologies to drive informed business decisions.
- Storytelling & Business Communication: Synthesize findings into compelling presentations, dashboards, and reports, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and alignment with business objectives.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration & Process Improvement: Build cross-team relationships to enhance data methodologies, implement self-service reporting, and identify opportunities for automation and efficiency.
- Strategic Impact & Continuous Improvement: Anticipate business problems, align data requirements with business needs, and proactively drive enhancements in reporting, analytics, and decision-making processes.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Statistics, Mathematics, Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, Marketing, Economics or related field AND 4+ years’ experience in data analysis and reporting, business intelligence, or business and financial analysis.
- OR Master’s Degree in Mathematics, Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, Marketing, Business, Economics or related field AND 3+ years experience in data analysis and reporting, business intelligence, or business and financial analysis.
- OR equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of business strategy and product management.
- 4+ years of experience building dashboards, writing queries and analyzing structured and unstructured data.
- 2+ years of experience in presenting and communicating with Executive Leadership.
Other Requirements
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Additional/Preferred Qualifications
- OR Master’s Degree in Mathematics, Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, Marketing, Business, Economics or related field AND 4+ years experience in data analysis and reporting, business intelligence, or business and financial analysis.
- OR equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of experience with large-scale distributed systems.
Business Analytics IC4 – The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $103,800 – $200,300 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $133,700 – $219,200 per year.
