Join our dynamic Commercial Foodservice team, where you will foster and grow partnerships with assigned Top 20 restaurant operators. You will lead the sales cycle with the goal of elevating our relationship with strategic and large customers to achieve preferred supplier status. Your ability to build and sustain extraordinary customer relationships at all levels will be critical to securing prime positioning for Mars products on menus.
As a senior member of our team, you will support, mentor, and role model behaviors across a team of fellow National Account Managers. Additionally, you will collaborate with a wide range of cross-functional resources, including Customer Care, R&D, Legal, Brand, Regulatory, Demand Planning, and Sales Operations, to support customer activities effectively.

What are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum of 10 yrs. combined experience in commercial food service sales account management with a focus on medium to large customers.
- Direct headquarter sales experience with major foodservice operators like, but not limited to, McDonald’s, Dairy Queen, Inspire Brands, Yum Brands, Little Caesars, Culvers, Crumbl, Starbucks, Chick-fil-A, Wendy’s, Burger King, Subway, Dominos, TR Toppers or Tarrier preferred.
- Proximity to major National Airport with the ability to travel 30% to 50% of the time.
What will be your responsibilities?
- LEAD STRATEGIC ACCOUNT EFFORTS: Support and grow relationships with various of the Top 10 largest customers for Mars Foodservices, including multilevel organizational engagement in support of current and future menu items.
- ESTABLISH NEW CUSTOMER PARTNERSHIPS: Lead prospecting efforts across assigned top 20 restaurant chains to yield opportunities for new menu partnerships leveraging Mars Products.
- FORECAST & OPERATE THE BUSINESS: Command and control the business with assigned customers through effective and accurate demand forecasting and cross-functional collaboration to ensure product and process commitments to the customer are met.
- MAXIMIZE RETURN ON INVESTMENT: Leverage accrued trade and other available resources to deliver and exceed top-line targets while maintaining desired profitability.
- EXPAND MW DIGITAL FOOTPRINT: Grow and execute digital engagement by harmonizing customer’s digital strategies and tactics with our plans. Drive our digital menu presence through optimal placement and investments in digital path to purchase.
- DEMAND SIGNALING: Ensure proper and timely demand signals are sent to the organization based on historical shipments, customer plans, and market conditions. This includes forecasting financial delivery vs. plans, capturing incremental volume and shipment timing in Mars systems to maintain target customer service levels. Establish and grow relationships with replenishment and logistic stakeholders at each customer, aligning processes for timely information communication to drive product production and financial position business calls.
- FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage overall customer P&L and deliver financial targets for all customers within the role’s portfolio, with specific rigor for top strategic customers. Effectively negotiate where relevant to achieve financial goals.

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between the below range, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, if eligible, including variable pay & general allowances (depending on the position and employee’s work schedule). Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable policies and plans then in effect, and depending on the position offered and the employee’s work schedule (i.e., part-time schedule), eligible employees are automatically enrolled in a 401(k) plan, as well as participate in Company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance plans for the employee and the employee’s eligible dependents, and may be eligible to take up to 18 weeks of paid parental leave. Employees will also receive the following paid-time off (which may be prorated based on start date and the employee’s work schedule): 120 hours of vacation per year, paid sick time for eligible Associates of 100% pay continuation for a maximum of 40 hours per calendar year, and 12 paid holidays throughout the calendar year that include both fixed and flexible holidays.
