Overview
The Executive Assistant to the President maintains the daily operations of the office of the President, with assistance to other members of the Leadership Team as necessary. This includes, but is not limited to, schedule management, project management, and correspondence.
Position Type
This is a full-time, benefit eligible position that will work in-person at the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum in Cooperstown, NY. The salary range for this position is $23.08-32.97/hr commensurate with experience. Benefits associated with this position include health insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, medical/dental FSA, retirement, and paid time off (vacation, sick, holidays).
Key Duties And Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage and organize the office functions for the President
- Schedule appointments, meetings and conference/video calls, handle correspondence
- Field phone calls and provide messages, maintaining the highest levels of professionalism and confidentiality
Secondary Responsibilities
- Assist other members of the Leadership Team with administrative tasks
- Assist the Director of Special Events and Travel with responsibilities tied to the President’s office
- Perform Hall of Fame Weekend duties as assigned
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education/Experience:
- Associate’s degree in business or office management or equivalent work experience.
- Two years’ experience in a relevant role or organization. Must possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
