This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our downtown Toronto and/or Client office at a minimum 3 days per week – subject to change at any time.

Your future duties and responsibilities

  • Re-test fixes for defects
  • Maintain up-to-date the test cases after some requirement changes were required
  • Work with relevant people with regards to test preparation, test execution, test data and tool usage
  • Plan and coordinate all cycles of testing, including functional-level system tests business scenario-based testing, to ensure proper test coverage while mitigating redundancy where possible
  • Facilitate the efficient resolution of issues, by providing initial triage for issue disposition
  • Preparing Test Scenarios, Test Cases for module, integration and system testing
  • Executing the Test Cases & Defect Tracking
  • Specification analysis
  • Participate in daily scrums features planning discussions

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role

  • At least 5 years of QA/testing experience.
  • Knowledge of Wealth Management or Banking domain
  • Knowledge of one or more of the following:
  • Mutual Fund Trading process
  • Total Cost Reporting Regulations
  • CRM2 Performance Reporting Regulations
  • IFAST or Fundserv trading platform experience.
  • Mutual Fund regulatory reporting experience
  • Proficiencies in creating End to end test cases
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and SDLC.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
