About The Role

We are hiring a Frontend Engineer who will build browser-based SaaS enterprise solutions. You”ll be joining an agile team. You’ll collaborate regularly with teams in the US and the EU. You”ll work closely with your fellow engineers and our product designers.

First, you’ll focus on our Utility Management product. Then, you will have opportunities to shift focus and start working on a different product within our ecosystem.

Here’s what you’ll dive into during your first 12 months:

  • Build new and enhance existing frontend features for one or more of our core products.
  • Participate in peer code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to standards.
  • Build unit and automated tests to ensure quality.

Our stack: JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, C#, RESTful APIs, SQL, Azure

Key Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively within a team environment to develop and support enterprise-level, browser-based software applications.
  • Actively participate as a member of an Agile-based team – daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, demos, etc.
  • Develop new user-facing features and services and build reusable code and libraries for future use.
  • Develop automated unit, integration, and regression tests and optimize application for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Conduct code reviews for other team members and update your code based on feedback from other team members.
  • Meet critical software release deadlines while not sacrificing the quality of the product.
  • Translate technical designs into code that produces the visual elements of an enterprise-class web application.
  • Deliver software that satisfies documented business requirements and expected user experience.

Preferred Experience & Skills

  • 3+ years of experience in production-level, web application development.
  • Angular and core concepts including components, services, and routing.
  • Modern web technologies including HTML, CSS, and responsive page layouts.
  • RESTful APIs and handling JSON data.
  • Unit testing and automated testing principles.
  • Pre-processing platforms such as LESS and SASS and reactive programming using RxJS
  • Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) concepts and practices, plus version control tools (preferably Git)
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or another technology-related field.

Pay Range: $85,000 – $100,000

Pay is commensurate on a variety of factors, including experience, knowledge, skills and abilities.
