Job Description

The position will work collaboratively with the marketing and social media teams, as well as cross-functionally with other key brand stakeholders as well as external teams (affiliate agencies, creative partners, etc.) in support of programs and product launches to drive the success of the business. Existing skincare knowledge or a high level of interest is key to success. They should have excellent communication and an eye on the marketplace and an understanding of social content that resonates in the US, with a knack for identifying emerging trends and clear understanding of reporting on metrics related to social KPIs.

Organic & Paid Social Media

  • Oversee brand community engagement across channels
  • Assist in community management, responding to all emails, social DM’s, engaging with the community on socials, etc.
  • Liaise with marketing, customer service, and product team to generate approved responses to customer service inquiries
  • Work effectively with cross-functional teams (including but not limited to Social, PR, Influencer, Brand, Operations) to effectively problem solve customer/ambassador inquiries
  • Oversee brand community engagement across channels

Reporting & Analysis

  • Work with manager to create monthly reporting template – reporting to all teams on KPI’s, audience growth, engagement, etc.
  • Perform social listening to monitor brand’s net sentiment. Identify relevant conversations and communities to engage with to increase favorability.

Job Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience
  • 0-1 years’ experience in social media & Content Development for a brand (in-house or agency)
  • Skincare experience and interest in fields related to health, beauty and dermatology preferred
  • Self-starter able to adapt quickly to changes in priorities and multi-task multiple projects.
  • Able to prioritize and manage time effectively, and to balance competing demands and priorities in a very fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills and extraordinary collaborative team spirit with ability to navigate complex team matrix.
  • Excellent problem-solving ability.
  • Professional and diplomatic style with a positive manner, attention to detail and a ‘can do’ attitude.
  • Professional communication skills to work closely with internal teams and agency partners.
  • Excellent written communication in English, with attention to detail.
