Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic person as Chief Operating Officer for one of the largest facilities maintenance companies in Hawaii. Will oversee janitorial, engineering, HVAC, and restoration operations of 700 employees with 300+ locations over 4 islands. Must be a great communicator, able to collaborate with CEO, CFO, operations and customers. Looking for a person who has excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively with employees at all levels, develop actionable business strategies, monitor/evaluate budgets, and multitask. Must be proficient in Word, Excel, email. Must have a valid driver license and be able to pass a background and credit check. Prefer 5+ years experience in executive leadership positions and advanced business leadership planning.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the daily operations of the organization, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness across all departments. Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the company’s long-term goals and objectives. Oversee budgeting processes, ensuring financial health and sustainability of operations. Supervise senior leadership teams, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental objectives. Drive program management initiatives to enhance productivity and streamline processes. Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices across the organization. Collaborate with other executives to develop strategic plans that promote business development and growth. Forecast operational needs and allocate resources effectively to meet organizational demands. Foster a culture of leadership and accountability throughout the organization.

Experience

Proven experience in operations management or a similar senior leadership role within a dynamic environment. Strong background in supervising teams, with demonstrated success in leading diverse groups towards common goals. Expertise in budgeting, program management, and strategic planning is essential. Exceptional skills in process improvement methodologies, with a track record of implementing successful initiatives. Ability to develop strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, fostering collaboration across departments. Excellent leadership skills with a focus on mentoring and developing talent within the organization.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $135,000.00 – $150,000.00 per year
