The Role
We are seeking a skilled and proactive HR Advisor to oversee human resources for Stanbroke Foods, The 203, and Peter Augustus. Combine your HR expertise with a focus on workplace compliance, employee engagement, and health and safety, ensuring a positive and productive environment across all three entities.
You will provide comprehensive support to managers and staff, balancing operational HR needs with strategic initiatives that contribute to the growth and success of Stanbroke Foods, The 203, and Peter Augustus.
Your Key Responsibilities
- HR Support: Provide expert advice on HR policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance and alignment with company objectives.
- Employee Relations: Guide managers and staff on employment matters, including performance management, conflict resolution, and workplace investigations.
- Health & Safety: Lead the implementation of health and safety initiatives across all entities, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and promoting a culture of wellbeing.
- Policy/Procedure Development: Maintain and enhance policies and procedures to ensure accurate employee data, efficient reporting, and streamlined HR processes.
- Recruitment & Onboarding: Assist with recruitment activities for Stanbroke Foods, The 203, and Peter Augustus, ensuring a smooth onboarding process.
- Compliance & Reporting: Stay informed about employment law changes and ensure all policies and practices comply with current legislation. Prepare and present HR and safety reports to senior management.
- Workforce Engagement: Foster a collaborative and inclusive culture across diverse teams, promoting employee satisfaction and retention.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- Your Qualifications & Experience:
- A degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience.
- HR advisory experience, including knowledge of employment law and compliance.
- Experience in managing workplace health and safety practices.
- Your Skills & Attributes:
- Strong understanding of HR best practices and the broader employment landscape.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach to challenges.
- Strong interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Experience in the food production, agriculture, or hospitality industry is desirable.
